John Müller is a man wanted on both sides of the law, and he knows it. Learning by chance of his uncanny resemblance to one Dr. Bartok, Müller decides that his best refuge lies in stealing this other man’s identity. "Hollow Triumph" stars and was produced by Paul Henreid during his spell on the Hollywood blacklist: as Mülller, the Austrian-born Henreid takes grim pleasure in defying the upright morality of his "Casablanca" character, Victor Laszlo.
