Directed by Jérémy Clapin | 89 mins | 2024
Aspiring graphic novelist Elsa (an arresting Megan Northam) is struggling with the disappearance of her astronaut brother Franck, who vanished during his first mission. While stargazing one night, she is shocked to receive contact from him, but her joy is short-lived: dark forces are behind this reappearance. With its arresting images and ethereal score, the first live-action feature by Clapin—director of the lauded animation "I Lost My Body" (2023)—is a rich, vitally original sci-fi psychodrama.
