Between being played by Sydney Sweeney (in "Reality", 2023) and Emilia Jones (in "Winner", 2024), the Air Force veteran and NSA translator-turned-whistleblower finally plays herself in this remarkable documentary by Sonia Kennebeck, executive produced by Wim Wenders. Newly released from prison, where she served four years for exposing Russian interference in the 2016 US elections, the titular Texan relates her singular story with candor and wit, as complemented by Kennebeck’s documentation of her trial.
